Come see a fabulous production of South Pacific! Music by Richard Rodgers, lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II, and book by Hammerstein and Joshua Logan. The story weaves together characters and elements from several stories into a single plotline about an American nurse at a U.S. Naval base who falls in love with a French plantation owner with a dark past. Issues of race and war are dealt with amongst the backdrop of beauty and exploration.
Fantastic sets and costumes, unforgettable songs like "I'm Gonna Wash That Man Right Outta My Hair", "Some Enchanted Evening", "Happy Talk", "Younger than Springtime" and "I'm in Love with a Wonderful Guy", and a superb cast will make for an evening you won't forget! All performances will be at the Shelburne Campus.
