Steve is pleased to be returning to LCWS full time this year. He returned to teaching in the upper school last year part time after a 4 year hiatus. His first stint at the school was from 2006-2021. Steve did his undergraduate work and received his Masters in Teaching from Boston College, before completing Waldorf Teacher Training at Rudolf Steiner College. Before coming to LCWS, he spent seven years teaching humanities and math at the Summerfield Waldorf School in Santa Rosa, California. During his hiatus from teaching, Steve worked up and down the eastern seaboard as a tour guide, leading both adult and student tours, and has a passion for bringing students on new experiences through the many trips LCWS offers. He lives near Middlebury with his wife and four cats.
