Our school operates with a collaborative Head of School leadership model, which works with the Board of Trustees and College of teachers to incorporate the voices and expertise of individuals with various roles throughout the school.

Collaborative
Leadership
The Head of School, Board Trustees, and College of Teachers each play different roles in school leadership. Collaboration means you’ll see faculty, administration, parents, alumni, and community members at the table together, consulting with each other to make the best decisions possible for our students.
Board of Trustees
The Board of Trustees is responsible for the legal, strategic, and financial realms of the school. They set tuition, develop our strategic plan, support fundraising efforts, and approve the school’s annual budget. Two faculty representatives sit on the Board as non-voting members. The Executive Committee of Board oversees and employs the Head of School.
Head of School
The Head of School is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the school in all areas including fiscal, legal, budgetary, and pedagogical. They supervise all faculty and administration and collaborate with the College of Teachers on pedagogical matters.
College of Teachers
The College of Teachers, a foundational aspect of Waldorf education, is responsible for setting and overseeing the school’s pedagogical goals and collaborates with the Head of School in matters of academic leadership.
